Cameron Peake, Partner, Restive Ventures (Moderator)
Cameron is an entrepreneurial leader who has launched, built, and scaled fintech companies around the world. She is a Partner at Restive Ventures, where she identifies and supports early founders to build the world’s best fintech companies. Cameron was previously the CEO and Co-Founder of Azlo, a leading digital banking platform for small businesses in the US. There, she grew the company to support the financial and business needs of small entrepreneurs, and was recognized as one of Fortune Magazine’s 40 under 40 for her work to deliver financial services to businesses impacted by COVID. Cameron also worked at the international development agency Mercy Corps, where she launched mobile money and banking products in countries including Haiti, Indonesia, the Philippines and Zimbabwe. Cameron has a BA from McGill University and an MBA from Wharton.

Laura Spiekerman, President, Alloy
Laura Spiekerman is the co-founder and President of the identity risk management company Alloy. Prior to Alloy, Laura led Business Development & Partnerships at a payments startup, where she first met Alloy co-founders Tommy Nicholas and Charles Hearn. Today, over 600 banks, credit unions, and fintechs turn to Alloy to take control of fraud, credit, and compliance risk, and grow with the clearest picture of their customers. Laura has been recognized by American Banker as one of 2023’s Most Influential Women in Fintech and by Crain’s New York as a 2021 Notable Woman on Wall Street. Laura is a proud Barnard College alumna and lives in Berkeley, California.

Andrew Wynn, CEO & Co-Founder, Ascend
Andrew Wynn is the Cofounder and Co-CEO of Ascend, the leading finance and accounting automation platform built for the $10T insurance industry. Founded in 2021, Ascend powers transactions for over 13,000 insurance businesses and counts insurance retail brokerages, MGAs, and carriers as customers. The team of 50 is based in-person in San Francisco and is co-led by Andrew alongside his cofounder, Praveen Chekuri. Prior to Ascend, Andrew and Praveen founded Sheltr which was acquired by Hippo Insurance in 2019. Before Hippo, Andrew and Praveen were early employees at Instacart.

Soups Ranjan, CEO & Co-founder, Sardine
Soups Ranjan is the CEO and co-founder of Sardine, a behavior-based fraud prevention platform that uses machine learning and AI to stop scams, safeguard payments, and automate KYC/AML compliance. Prior to Sardine, Soups was the Head of Financial Crime at Revolut and the Head of Risk at Coinbase. He holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University, where his thesis was on scaling web services to handle cyber threats and Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks. Drawing on his expertise using machine learning to fight fraud over the past 15 years, Soups founded Sardine to build the smartest platform for financial crime prevention. Sardine has emerged as a leader in fraud and compliance with over 250 global enterprise customers and world-class investors like Andreessen Horowitz, Visa, Experian, and FIS.
