Matt Vail is a tech entrepreneur and startup operator, currently leading startup and VC partnerships at OpenAI, helping top venture firms drive AI adoption across their portfolio companies. Previously, he led AWS’s efforts to support startups going through top accelerators including Y Combinator and Stanford StartX. Prior to that, Matt led Business Development at Songkick (Sequoia-backed), where he helped scale the company to $100M in revenue and guided it through a merger and successful exit to Warner Music Group. He also co-founded a real estate development startup in NYC and held leadership roles at several early-stage companies, specializing in business development and growth strategy.
